A timeless and practical tea pot designed by one of Japan's most prominent designers, Sori Yanagi. The kettle is yanagi's best-selling masterpiece, with more than half a million kettles sold yearly in Japan alone.
Each kettle is carefully made to perfection by skilled Japanese craftsmen in Niigata Japan. Though its design might look simplistic, this kettle is perfectly shaped and balanced for smooth pouring. The handle shape is unique and by making a slight pinky finger movement, the kettle naturally sways to pour. By using your forefinger, you can adjust the pouring degree.
